PEOPLE
Our love of the olive comes from our travels in France, Spain, Greece and Italy, introducing us to the different flavors of olive oil that we encountered. Tasting our way along the Mediterranean, we grew to appreciate the connection between olive oil and a way of life — rich in friends, food, and shared memories. From the harvest to the table, olive oil is an essential ingredient in daily life.
Today, we celebrate the Queen of Fruit and honor her with our Olive Queen label. This regal fruit is the foundation for our estate-grown Spanish Blend of Arbequina and Arbosana olives, along with locally-sourced olives from west Sonoma County and beyond.

PLACE
Olive Queen is located on a micro-farm in Forestville, in the western hills of Sonoma County — surrounded by organic farms, grape vineyards, goat cheese makers, award-winning wineries and restaurants. In 2002 we replaced an old apple orchard that had seen better days, with a grove of 2-year old olive trees. Warm days and cool nights, along with sandy loam soil creates the perfect environment for the trees to grow healthy and strong. Planted on a southern facing hillside, the olive trees bask in sun all day long producing outstanding fruit.
Organically-grown, harvested with care and cold-pressed within 24 hours, Olive Queen extra virgin olive oil reflects the soil and climate that for generations has made Sonoma County a world-class agricultural region.
